If someone uses your image or likeness for commercial purposes without having obtained your prior written consent, he might have violated your right of publicity.

The right of publicity in Illinois is granted by statute, which allows for minimal statutory damages or for actual damages.  The law also allows you to stop the unauthorized use of your image for commercial purposes.
