Cheryl Dancey Balough Selected As Leading Lawyer

Cheryl Dancey Balough has been selected as a Leading Lawyer in Chicago in the field of closely

and privately held business law for 2018. The designation was made by Leading Lawyers, a division of Law Bulletin Media, which publishes the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.

Leading Lawyers is used by lawyers and potential clients to locate reputable, experienced lawyers. Leading Lawyers surveys lawyers, asking them which of their peers they would recommend to a family member or friend if they could not take a case within their area of law or geographic area. The survey results are reviewed by an advisory board.

Ms. Balough is a founding member of Balough Law Offices, LLC. She serves as chair of the ABA’s Business Law Section Cyberspace Law Committee and is adjunct professor of copyright law at Chicago-Kent College of Law. In addition to her law degree, Ms. Balough holds a master of business from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
