Balough Named Vice Chair of ABA Cyberspace Committee
Cheryl Dancey Balough has been named the vice chair of the Cyberspace Law Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
The Cyberspace Law Committee provides a forum for the analysis of corporate, transactional, and regulatory issues related to the Internet and digital technologies. The Committee works in a wide range of legal disciplines, including electronic commerce and contracts, consumer protection, intellectual property, and privacy.
Ms. Balough previously served as co-director of communications for the Committee. She is co-author of the book RFIDs, Near-Field Communications, and Mobile Payments: A Guide for Lawyers as well as numerous legal articles. She also is an adjunct professor at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she teaches a course in copyright law.
